First time met CNBLUE at studio, the energy is great. A great smiling face and energy, dealing with their enthusiastic. The group with “Pure innocent” and “Youth Passion” image. Jung Yonghwa, brimming with curiosity, manly vocalist and guitarist. Lee Jonghyun, the chic vocalist and guitarist. Kang Minhyuk, the cute and charming drummer. Lee Jungshin, the 4D and natural bassist. They’re CNBLUE’s members.

On 2010, I’m Loner and Love became big hits. They’re known as a pop band, also Ikemen Band (Flower Band) by looking at their performance. But, it’s too quick to judge they’re Flower Band. Owing to Jung Yonghwa whoappeared on You’re Beautiful, CNBLUE got spotlight when they debuted. Also, owing to their awesome look, they managed to attract the attention of many people. But, before they debut with I’m Loner, they got many painful experiences.

Before they debut in Korea, they went to Japan as indie band. They targeted 100 live house and street performances. Their 1^st street performance is at Shinjuku Station. When they did street performance, they brought their instruments and amplifier by them self, even distribute the leaflets. The audience increase one by one and it makes them happy. Direct interaction with audience, having experience like that can stimulate us to increase our performance and vocal ability. By that, we can get much love from Japanese fans.

Bound as musician, to advance one step

CNBLUE who has debuted for 2 years, step by step try to make music with their own color and improve their music ability. They keep walking at their path with steady, to pull down prejudice and misunderstanding around them. And finally they released their 1^st full album “First Step” as result of that process.

First they released their song “Intuition”, they got first place at some charts at that time. Also first place on Music Bank chart and became big hit there. By that, they able to got much love because “Band Sound” started become popular. It’s rejoice thing. However, they‘re not only think their first album became popular. It’s more meaningful than that. They can make full album, total 12 songs. With 9 songs of it are made by them. For affirmation their identity as band, they won’t give up to increase their music and performance quality even better. This album included their Japanese songs that ranked in Oricon Chart, like One Time and I don’t know why. They always remember their whole hard struggle they did in Japan until they got success like now.

First Step means their first one step to advance as musician. To make their dream come true, they must aware that many task to conquest, and they’re wisdom. That wise is not only calculation and plan, but come from their sensitiveness. Flutter heart in passion, pure soul, strong determination to make dream come true. While knowing their limit, they took the challenge, never give up at everything. Their pure heart can embrace people attention.
